September 2026: Maya Singh and Makayla Maxine Wilson Schmidt shared their therapeutic drug monitoring research for HIV and tuberculosis at the 27th International Workshop on Clinical Pharmacology of HIV, Hepatitis, and Other Antiviral Drugs. Maya was also selected for an oral abstract presentation, which you can watch here! Thank you to both for representing our lab and our work so well!

August 2026: Sofia Solari was awarded the Levinson Emerging Scholars Award by the University of Washington’s Office of Undergraduate Research. What a well-deserved award and recognition for your dedicated work on HIV therapeutic drug monitoring. Congrats, Sofia!
July 2026: Dorothy (Dot) Mims was selected to share her research on rapid HIV drug resistance testing via an oral abstract presentation at the AIDS 2026 Conference in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Way to go, Dot! Their presentation will be made publicly available by the conference later, but IAS members can view now here.

July 2026: Kelsey Leong passed her PhD qualifying exam! Thank you to their committee members (Dr. Barry Lutz, Dr. Jillian Pintye, and Dr. Ashleigh Theberge) for their support and feedback.
